Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories Review

Just finished playing through Sora's story in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories for the PS2. It's an interesting game, but the card combat system can become annoying in some fights, such as the final time you fight Riku. If anyone's stuck on this battle, I used Strike Raid because it stuns him and gives you time to use Cure cards and reload your card deck. Be sure and have at least 1 mega-potion in your deck though, so you don't end up running out of cards from using Strike Raid multiple times.
Overall I really enjoyed the game. And since I don't have a Gameboy Advance and never played the original version of Chain of Memories, it helped to fill in the gaps between Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. And not only do you get to find out what happened to Sora, and why he was in that pod at the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 2. You also get to find out what happened to Riku and King Mickey after they sealed the Door to Darkness in Kingdom Hearts 1. Once you beat Sora's part of the game you can start a new game as Riku as he tries to escape from Castle Oblivion and purge the Darkness from his heart.

I give Chain of Memories a 8 out of 10. If your a fan of the first two games, then you'll probably enjoy this one as well. Now I just have to wait for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (Official English Site)for the DS, and Birth by Sleep (Official Japanese Site) for the PSP to come out.
