Keanu Reeves has been cast to play Spike Spiegel in 20th Century Fox's live action adaptation of Shinichiro Watanabe's Cowboy Bebop. I loved the Coboy Bebop anime, and Reeves certainly fits the appearance of Spike, let's hope he does a good job portraying the character.
The screenplay will be writen by Peter Craig, with Shinichiro Watanabe, Kenji Uchida, and series writer Keiko Nobumoto serving as associate producers. Series producer Mashiko Minami will work on the film as a production consultant.
