Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Besides a bit of a cold, I had a pretty nice one. We had a really nice dinner of ham, scalloped potatoes, and potatoe salad. Everyone really enjoyed their gifts. I had got my Mom a crockpot, Dad a DVD player, and brother Kung Fu Panda on DVD. I got some clothes and some movies, as you can see below.

I got Iron Man, Bleach Season 1, Heroes Season 2, All 4 Indiana Jones movies, Monster Squad, and Classic Christmas Favorites which has 10 old Christmas shows like How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and The Year Without a Santa Clause. The Iron Man DVD came with this mini-bust from Sideshow Collectibles. It also came with a $50 gift card to Sideshow Collectibles. I'll need to check out their website and see if their is anything worth buying that's close to that amount.
Apparently Disney has decided not to continue co-producing and co-financing future Narnia films. Disney has declined to give an official statement as to the reasons, but poor box office results for Prince Caspian may be one of the reasons. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe took in $292 million domestic and $453 million internationally, while Prince Caspian only took in $141 million domestic and 278$ internationally. So, the fate of future movies based on C.S. Lewis' classic novels is now up in the air. I, for one, hope another studio picks up the final 5 books and finishes the series, as The Chronicles of Narnia are some of my favorite books. But, if another studio does pick them up, I hope they don't mess to much with what's already been done and end up ruining the rest of them.
Do you want to see the final books made into films?

Bought The Dark Knight on Blu-ray the other day. It's actually my first Blu-ray movie since I got a PS3. Since I don't have a HD TV I still buy DVD's since they are cheaper. But Best Buy had a collectors set that came with a Batpod statue.

The backdrop is actually the Disc case, which is pretty cool. Also picked up the Lucky Star Vol 4 Collectors box while I was at Best Buy. This one came with a girl's summer uniform print T-shirt, and Miyuki character CD.
I took advantage of J-list's Year Dating Sim sale this month to pick up some older Peach Princess, and G-Collection titles that are about to go out of print and take advantage of the free Hirameki games which are also out of print since Hirameki went under.
The trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine is online. We get to see more of Gambit, the Blob, and a couple other characters. Looks like it might be pretty good so far.
