Part Time Job

Konata decided to get a new part time job a couple months ago to earn some money for Comifest. She convinced Tsukasa and Kagami to come help her out.


Since Konata was their supervisor she decided to wear her brigade chief costume, but she may of got a little to into character.

"Pull harder! We'll never finish at this rate."

Poor Tsukasa was already having a hard enough time getting the merchandise across the scanner without Konata standing on it barking orders.


Kagami apologizes to the customer as she takes the money. "I'm sorry. She always gets this way when Comifest comes around." *sigh*

Took these are work the other day. Was closing time, so since I didn't want to keep the other employee's waiting I just took a couple pictures from different angles instead of trying to change the scene up. Hope you still enjoy them anyway.

Kagami's Figma-pod

After seeing the info on the Figma bicycles that are going to be offered at Wonder Hobby, I decided to take some photos of Kagami on her Figma-pod.



She looks like she's having a lot of fun.



Roy Fokker pulls her over for speeding. He decides to let her go with a warning. I mean who could write a ticket to such a cutie.

Cheerleader Haruhi and Mikuru Figma's

These two new figma's from Max Factory just went up for reservation at Hobby Search.




Cheerleader Haruhi is due out March 2009, and retails for 2,381 Yen (Appox. 26.48 USD)




Cheerleader Mikuru is also due out in March for 2,381 Yen.

I currently only have 4 figma's in my collection, but I might try to get these if I can. Still some other figures higher on my want list. Plus the faces for Haruhi don't really look that great. What's your thoughts on the Haruhi figma?

Desk Wars: Return of Kagami

My Yuki Nagato, and Kagami Hiiragi Figma's arrived yesterday from Hobby Search. I had already opened Yuki, before I thought about taking photos of the packaging. So I just stood her in front of the box. Have some problems with the Yuki figure, but they are pretty minor issues. You can't get the figma stand into the hole on Yuki's back when she has her cape on. You have to sort of balance her with the hole in the cape. Also the cape section you use when posing her with the guitar does fit together perfectly with the main section, but it does fit well enough to stay put. Lastly, I noticed Yuki's shoes are brown, while the picture on the box shows white with blue soles.

Last time we left Konota surrounded by the stormtrooper, and General Grieveous after they had blasted Tsukasa to the edge of the desk. Recap here.
As Konota is trying to think of a way out of her predicament, Tsukasa's sister Kagami shows up. "How dare you blast my sister!" she yells at the stormtrooper.


Looking over to Konota she says, "Let's teach these bobble heads a lesson."
Kagami tries to take out the stormtrooper with a Hiiragi Flying Kick, while Konota jumps on Grievous and starts pounding on his head.
However, Kagami is surprised as the stormtrooper dodges her attack.
And quickly blasts her from behind. Meanwhile Grievous reveals his seach set of arms and grabs Konota flinging her through the air.

Tsukasa regains conciousness as the duo approach to finish her off. She quickly dials a number on her cell phone. "Please send help," she says as the person on the other end answers.
In a flash of light Yuki Nagato appears behind the unsuspecting evil doers.
She waves her wand, summoning the ultimate weapon in the universe to dispatch Grievous and the stormtrooper.


Afterward, the girls have some fun. Konota dances as Yuki plays her guitar. Kagami enjoys the latest issue of her favorite manga, while Tsukasa wonders why she got stuck serving the tea.

Tsukasa Hiiragi Figma Arrives

My Tsukasa Hiiragi Figma arrived today from Hobby Search. This was my first order from them and I am really pleased. From packaging to delivery was only 7 days, and the figure was well packaged. I have two other figmas on pre-order with them, and will likely do buisness with them again.

And quickly goes about freeing her from the box.







Tsukasa says "Konichiwa, Konota." as she sits up to look around.


Tsukasa and Konota greet each other.


But, suddenly Tsukasa sees something behind Konota.


The stormtrooper is back, having decided to take Konota by surprise while she was distracted with her friend.


Konota shows him what a mistake that was with a round house kick to the head.


Konota turns around to see Tsukasa oblivious to the situation and trying to figure out her American cell phone.
