Went to Wal-mart after work today to get some things, and was going to buy some popcorn shrimp from their deli. While waiting in line I noticed the McDonald's there had Star Wars: The Clone Wars Bobble Head toys with their kid's meals. So instead of getting popcorn shrimp I bought a happy meal.
More after the jump to lightspeed...
There are 18 different toys to collect.
Do you collect happy meal toys of your favorite shows, or movies? Do you open them or leave them in the package?
Konota doesn't like the Empire messing with her turf.
The two face off for the final battle for control of the desk.
The Empire makes the first move and charges Konota.
Konota's knocked down! Has the Empire won and gained control of the desk?
No, Konota quickly discards her weapon, and lands a drop kick on the AT-AT's driver.
Standing triumphantly upon her fallen foe, Konota dares anyone to try and take over her desk again.

Wal-mart has a Transformers 2 site set up with video of Day 1 of shooting for Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. on Blu-ray. According to the site more videos will be added every week. To access the videos you need this code AllSpark62609 which was included with the new releases of Michael Bay's Transformers on DVD and Blu-ray this week. You need to actually type the code in. If you cut and paste it, you will get a Access Denied message.
One of the blogs I regularly read is DannyChoo.com. Danny has a series of YouTube videos where he goes around Tokyo dressed as a Stormtrooper. One such video has him dancing to Caramell Dansen.
Now this song is sung is Swedish, but it almost sounds like English. And earlier this week I found this video with the misheard English lyrics.
Is this what you hear when you listen to this song?

Just finished watching Moon Phase. It's about a vampire named Hazuki, who's been imprisoned in a castle in Germany until a photographer named Kohei helps her escape. She try's turning Kohei into her slave by biting him, but his special blood prevents her from doing so which infuriates her to no end. The two of them become very close over the coarse of the series despite always arguing with each other, as they fend off attempts by Hazuki's father to have her returned to the castle.
The series is very good, despite a couple of plot points that don't seem to get resolved. It's a very light hearted love comedy most of the time, with Hazuki and Kohei often arguing and never willing to admit their true feelings for each other. Some episodes become more serious as they fight against one of Hazuki's pursuers, and Kohei wishing he could become stronger in order to protect her. But even the most serious mood in the series is quickly broken by the ever increasing amount of pots and pans that fall out of nowhere to hit the characters in the head.
Overall a very good series and worth watching. I gave it a 5 out of 5.
Just saw this for pre-order at Animenation. It's King Mickey from Kingdom Hearts 2.
The Kingdom Hearts games are 2 of my favorite PS2 games. The way they mixed the Disney and Square-Enix universes without making it a kiddy game was really cool, and it introduced me to the music of Utada Hikaru. This figure is from Play Arts, who are also making Sora and Riku figures. The figures are fully poseable with up to 20 points of articulation. I'm seriously thinking of pre-ordering this, because I liked how Mickey got to kick butt in Kingdom Hearts. He looks really cool to.
