Your Right to Resell is in Peril

October 29th, the Supreme Court is scheduled to determine if you have the right to resell your own property. Depending on how they rule it may become illegal to resell your iPhone, PC, Car or Truck, clothes, or even your home without first asking the manufacture of that product permission to do so, which they may decline to give.

Earlier this year a lower court determined that products made in other countries do not fall under the "right of first sale". The "right of first sale" is what gives you the right to resell your own property. If the Supreme Court upholds this ruling, which Obama and the Entertainment Industry is pushing them to do, then it would become illegal for consumers to do that if any part of that product was manufactured in other countries.

With pretty much every piece of electronics from TVs to iPhones being made overseas you would lose your right to resell them. A large number of cars and trucks are made overseas. Your old clothing could of been made in another countries. Your furniture. Your books. If this is upheld it would put an end to Ebay, Craiglists, even the local yard sell. It would also make it beneficial to manufactures to move all productions outside of the US, and damage our economy.

Doctor Who Series 7 Trailer

The BBC has posted a trailer for series 7 of Doctor Who. There will be 5 new episodes this year, plus a Christmas special introducing a new companion played by Jenna Louise Coleman. There will be 8 new episodes aired next year.

DVD's and Shirts

Some stuff I ordered recently came in today. Got these Shuffle! DVD's from Right Stuf for 6.00 each. I only bought 1-5 because I had already bought volume 6+Artbox when it originally came out.

Also got these two shirts in from the Megatokyo Megagear Store. The first shirt has a print of their .N1T3Z poster, and the second reads "Everything I know about life I learned from shoujo manga."

Last Target had these ALF 2-packs on sale for 12.99 each. So I was able to get the entire series for just 25.98

Smallville: Absolute Justice Trailer - UPDATED

Smallville returns Feburary 5th with the subtitle Absolute Justice. Clark discovers the Justice Society of America and meets Hawkman, Dr. Fate, and I'm not sure who the lady in the picture is. I've really been enjoying Smallville lately now that they've been bringing in more characters from the comics, and not just the meteor freak of the week that the series started off on.

Here is the Canadian commercial which shows more of Dr Fate and Hawkman. It also teases at the Golden Age Green Lantern being in the show.

Christmas Loot

Got quite a bit of stuff for Christmas this year. It mainly consisted of manga, dvd's and games. A friend of mine got me this Vizbig edition of Rurouni Kenshin volume 1. I've seen the anime, but haven't gotten around to reading the manga. Guess now's a good a time as any. Thanks Sturm.


One of my Aunt's got me these next 4 manga. xxxHolic, and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. I've watched the first 2 volumes of the Tsubasa anime, but haven't gotten around to finishing it. Looking forward to reading both these series.

Rosario+Vampire, and Fruits Basket are two series I'm currently reading. Just finished Fruits Basket volume 7 today and wish I got paid tomorrow instead of Thursday so I could get out to the book store to get volume 8. I really enjoyed the last half of the volume about Uotani's past.


For DVD's I got Bleach season 2, and Fraggle Rock Season 4. I'm really glad they finally decided to release vol. 4 of Fraggle Rock by itself. It really pissed me off when they announced it was originally only going to be released as part of a complete set package. Kind of disappointed they didn't keep the same style packaging and bonus stuff like they had for the first 3 seasons.


More DVD's were Family Guy Blue Harvest and Something Something Something Darkside two pack, and Smallville season 3. I really liked Blue Harvest and going to watch Something Something Something Darkside tomorrow. The plan on making a Return of the Jedi parody as well, I Have A Bad Feeling About This.


The last DVD I got was Santa Claus the Movie.


I got Gears of War, and Grand Theft Auto Episodes From Liberty City. Episodes From Liberty City contains the two DLC packs for GTA4, The Lost and The Damned, and The Ballad of Gay Tony. And unlike the downloaded versions you don't need the original GTA4 game to play them.


And have you ever seen a Rice Krispy treat this big? This thing weighs 2 pounds. And surprisingly it only cost 3 bucks.

Admiral Adama addresses the United Nations

Battlestar Galactica actors James Edward Olmos (Admiral Adama) and Mary McDonald (President Roslin) were invited to speak at the United Nations. While there James Edward Olmos took issue with their use of the word race as a cultural determinate, stating that there is only one race, the human race.

The Girl At The Video Game Store

In commemoration of Attack of the Show's 1000th episode, song writer Parry Gripp recorded a new song featuring AOTS hosts Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn. The name of this song is "The Girl at the Video Game Store", with Oliva starring as the "Girl" and Kevin on drums. The song is actually quite good.



Congratulations, AOTS on your 1000th show. I hope you have 1000 more.

What Car

On Mythbuster's last week Adam and Jamie tested a scene from the Matrix where two semi-trucks smash a car between them, pancaking the car, and fusing the vehicles together. Unable to produce the desired results when using two semi's, the Mythbusters decided to use a rocket sled. The results of their test can best be summed up in the words of Jamie,

The goal was to fuse metal and pancake the car.... What car?

Olivia Munn Dives Into a Pie

Olivia Munn's Pie Week Petition has reached 62,000+ signatures. So as promised on Friday's Attack of the Show she jumped into a giant chocolate pie dressed in a naughty french maid outfit.



Co-host Kevin Pereira joined her for a dip in the pie.



Hmm, I wonder if she needs any help cleaning all that off.



Watch as Olivia and Kevin jump into the pie. At one point Kevin tries to get a camera man to get a shot of Olivia's rear just before he leaps in.



Behind the scenes footage of the making of the pie. It's roughly 8 feet in diameter, contains 600 gallons of filling, and weighs roughly between 3-4 thousand pounds. Now that's a big pie.

Olivia has also announced her new website oliviamunn.com will be going live Tuesday, Feb. 3rd, and asked that fans embed this video on their sites promoting it.

There will be exclusives and contests and rainbows in jars!

Red Dwarf Special This Easter

A new 2 part Red Dwarf special will air over Easter Weekend, and will apparently see the crew of Red Dwarf finally make it back to Earth. It will air on Britain's Dave Channel

The new two-part series Red Dwarf: Back to Earth will be followed by a "no holds barred" episode without sets, special effects or autocue.

The weekend will climax with Red Dwarf: the Making of Back to Earth, a behind-the-scenes special from the new episodes.

Olivia Munn Loves Pie

She loves it some much, that she has started a petition to have National Pie Day (Jan 23rd) officially expanded into National Pie Week spanning the entire last week of January.

To: U.S. Congress

"Hello everybody, I'm Cable TV's Olivia Munn and it's no secret that I love pie. Last Friday, we were besieged by viewer emails saying it was National Pie Day -- and it got me thinking. I used to watch Red Dwarf all the time on PBS along with Doctor Who, and Black Adder. For anyone unfamiliar with the show, it about a guy named Lister, who is a part of the crew on a spaceship called Red Dwarf. After being imprisoned in stasis for smuggling his pregnant pet cat on board, a radiation leak wipes out the entire crew. 3 million years later the ships computer Holly revives Lister, and creates a hologram of his bunk mate Rimmer. The two soon run into Cat, who looks human and is a descendant of the cat Lister smuggled on board. And thus Red Dwarf begins it's 3 million year trip back to Earth.

Samurai Girl

Been watching this new show on ABC Family called Samurai Girl. It's about a girl named Heaven, played by a beautiful Jamie Chung, who's father has set her up with an arranged wedding. During the wedding ninja's attack and kill her brother, who is trying to protect her. Her father is also shot during the attack. After escaping the attack Heaven seeks out her brothers friend who teaches her to fight, so she can track down who sent the ninja's. During her search she learns she is part of an ancient prophecy, and is fated to bring prosperity to those loyal to her but possibly at the cost of her own life.

They are showing the first 6 episodes over the weekend with 1-4 already airing. But they will re-air those episodes prior to the airing of the final 2 starting at 4PM PST Sunday, Sept 7th.

I've enjoyed watching the series, and hope it continues for a few seasons. And if it does get canceled that they at least make a final episode to tie up the plot line now that they have me into the show.
